START / FINISH : Podbrdo in Baški grapi - in the center (n.m.v. 520m), flying start (0,5 km) - Podbrdo event area "Na bazenu" (n.m.v. 520m)

 

REFRESHMENT: (look the profile).

At the finish line there will be another refreshment point with beverages, fruit cups and warm meals. 

 

NO PLASTIC CUPS ON REFRESHMENTS! RUNNERS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN CUPS !

 

TIMING: Time is mesured by Timing team. The GROSS time between the mass start and the finish counts as the results! Mass start is at the TIC Podbrdo!
MEASURING TIMES
0,5km – Flying start at TIC Podbrdo, 27 km – Hudajužna, 34 km – Porezen, 40,5 km – Finish in Podbrdu.
TIME LIMIT : cilj - 9 ur. Time limit at 27 km (Hudajužna) – 5,5 hour.

Competitors failing to finish corresponding distances at stipulated time limit shall cease the race. Competitors, who exit the course should get on the pick-up transportation vehicle to the finish area. Transportation will be organised from explicit points in intervals that will depend on mass of transportation. While waiting, warm place with food and drinks will be provided. The competitor who resigns must contact the organizer at the call center+386 31 585 523 .

 

ENTRIES:  until 12.6.2022 and on the day of race 18.6.2022 or until the fulfilment of applications for the race (limited to 300 competitors). 

(The registration will be accredited with the payment of entry fee for the race. The race will be limited to 300 competitors. In the case of higher number of applicants the organiser will accept the competitors in accordance with the rule first paid, first served. The list of competitors with race numbers (bib numbers) will be published on official website www.ptrf.si )

RACE ENTRY FEE INCLUDES:

Practical gift, Timing with chips, refreshment points on the route, free beverages and snacks after the race.

Practical gift: Tehnical T-shirt + surprise. For easier organization, participants who register or pay for registration after 21 May 2022 PRACTICAL AWARDS will be sent after the event, by post!

 

TERMS OF CANCELLATION:

In case of cancellation of the competition due to force majeure (epidemic or similar), we offer two options::

  • Transfer of the entire entry fee to the year 2023
  • Refund of 60% registration fee and 20% discount on registration in 2023

In case of cancelation of competitors because of injury or infection (medical certificate):

  • Transfer of the entire entry fee to the different person
  • Transfer of the entire entry fee to the year 2023

In other cases, the entry fee is not refundable due to the demanding organization.

 

 

TRACK AND PROFILE:

Proga poteka po ozemlju štirih občin: Bohinj, Cerkno, Tolmin in Železniki. Tekmovalce vodi po »mulatierah« in planinskih poteh po pobočjih Črne prsti in Porezna. Start je v Podbrdu (521 m n.v.)v samem centru kraja. Začetni  del proge poteka po stari cesti Podbrdo – Petrovo Brdo do odcepa proti domačiji Hoba, na ovinku pod hišo pa se pot nadaljuje po lepo speljani vojaški mulatjeri pod Kup, kjer je dodana še ena okrepčevalnica. Proga se v prvih treh kilometrih vzpne do Hobe in se v nadaljevanju priključi stezi na že obstoječi progi, ki pripelj do Kovc. (1230 m n.v.) Od tu se proga nadaljuje preko Vrha Bače (1270 m n.v.) do Koble (1498 m n.v.). S Koble se proga spusti na planino Kal (1362 m n.v.), od tu pa se vzpne na sedlo Čez Suho (1760 m n.v.) tik pod vrhom Črne Prsti. Čez Suho je najvišja točka maratona. Sledi najdaljši spust (950 m višinske razlike) po markirani poti preko sedla Kalarskega Brda (985 m n.v.) v vas Kal (817 m n.v.). Naprej nas pot vodi po asfaltirani cesti v vas Stržišče. Takoj za okrepčevalnico v vasi Stržišče se čez travnike spustimo na stezo, ki nas vodi proti vasi Znojile (pred vasjo je 1 km asfaltirane ceste). Po dobrih treh kilometrih nezahtevne poti nas proga pripelje v vas Obloke (620 m n.v.), od tu pa se spusti v Hudajužno (361 m n.v.), kjer je najnižja točka maratona. Sledi dolg in zahteven vzpon (dolžina 6,5 km, višinska razlika 1230 m) čez Žetlc, Rovt, Durnik, Robijo in Prehod do koče pod vrhom Porezna. S Porezna (1636 m n.v.) pa se po poti Slovenske planinske transverzale čez Trtniško planino mimo Robarja spustimo na cilj v Podbrdo.

Length of the course is 42,2km (measured by hand with a measuring wheel, measured by SUUNTO AMBIT 3 is 40,5 km), total deviation is 5.600 m (ascents 2.800 m and descents 2.800 m)

PRIZES AND AWARDS:

Each competitor will be given a memory medal at finish line. First top 3 male and 3 female of each category will be rewarded with a medal. For absolute category the awards ceremony will take place when first three arrive at the finish. 

All other categories will be awarded individually upon arrival at the destination or by post. The results of the competition will be announced after the end of the competition (Sunday, June 18, 2022 at 17 o'clock). 

  

OTHER: 

COLLECTING RACE NUMBERS & EQUIPMENT:

Start numbers will be published on www.ptrf.si.

Takeover will be possible on  Friday 17 June, 2022, in Podbrdo at the event area (»na Bazenu«), from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Saturday 18 June, 2022 on the day of the race, in Podbrdo at the event area (»na Bazenu«), from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM.
Competitors can prepare their sport equipments (clothes, walking poles etc.) in prepared plastic bags 15 minuts before start. Intended for all runners who want to have ready-to-wear clothes on arrival at the finish line. After the start of the race, we do not issue any more start numbers.

We provide transport of poles to Hudajužna (27km). We don't pick up sticks anywhere on the route! Sticks for Hudojužna (27km) can be pass at the event area near wardrobe.

COMPETITES ACCORDING TO THE RULES OF AZS.

 

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION:

 

1. Minors (under 18) are not allowed to participate.

2. Competitors are insured at the third-party insurance policy at Zavarovalnica Triglav d.d.

3. Competitors must stay on the official course at all times. It is the responsibility of each competitor to know the course and follow signposts (please see the course map to learn the course before race day). Participants, who leave the course will automatically be disqualified and also those, who take a shortcut or jump into the race from halfway.

4. On the parts where the trail meets the road, competitors should follow the road traffic and traffic signals regulations.

5. Any individual assistance outside the refreshment stations is prohibited, as is support in the race. The competitor arriving at a refreshment station or control check-point must follow the instructions given by the volunteers and will be required to comply with them.

6. Each competitor is committed to carry obligatory equipment throughout the race and present it whenever required by the organiser during the race. Check points may be carried out at any time during the race and the competitor is obliged to cooperate with these controls cordially, non-compliance may result in disqualification.

7. Walking poles are tolerated! (Rule 251 that replaces Rule 251 (Mountain Races) and Rule 252 (Trail Races) of the IAAF Competition Rules (NEW Rule approved by the IAAF Council in force from 1 January 2019))

8. The mountain rescue team (GRS) will set up a medical aid posts along the route and they would be in constant contact with the directing stuff (organiser). Volunteers will be assigned along the route to maintain race order and to check attendance of competitors. Competitors may seek help with them for any problems.

9. Organiser can disqualify a competitor for throwing waste on the route and outside designated areas. Organiser aim to ensure that all competitors do not litter the race course and instead use the garbage can in specifics areas.

10. The event will be carried out in any weather conditions. However, in the event of such a bad weather that would impact the competitors safety (heavy thunderstorm, natural disaster… ), the supreme race committee  reserve the right to stop or modify the time barriers of the event.

12. The competitor acknowledges and agrees that the activity organised or conducted by the organiser is in the nature of an “extreme sport” and as such, has inherent dangers and risks, including risk of injury or death to the participant.

13. Competitors acknowledge that they are voluntarily applying to participate in the Ultra Pušeljc Trail and they agree to the terms, conditions and recommendations of the event. Competitors should also understand that these rules may be amended, modified or improved at any time by the organiser.
